Michael de Blok vs. Verizon Wireless
"Stop hijacking my phone"
-
Michael de Blok I recently moved to the states were I brought my Samsung Galaxy S with me from Europe. I had an AT&T pre-paid card in there for about 3-4 months after switching to Verizon with my girlfriend.
My old AT&T phone number got ported to Verizon and I received a new phone from them (Droid Razr Maxx).
2 months after being a customer the relationship ends and being the vindictive little minx that my ex-girlfriend is she reports my phone (line) stolen. So my Droid Razr Maxx ceases to work.
I have made numerous attempts to convince customer service that the phone is NOT stolen, I have proof that I had this number and phone before I joined Verizon.
I have proof that I paid for both phones & plans the entire time.
Yet they will not unblock my Droid Razr Maxx or acknowledge me as an owner, or for that matter seperate my phone line from hers and assume liability of it.Fine I can live with all the above, I'll just buy a new plan and phone with a different provider.
BUT what I absolutely cannot stand is that they assume my old phone is THEIR property when it is clearly not.
I am unable to use my old Samsung Galaxy S with any other provider because my old phone number was ported from AT&T and my phone's IMEI nummer was linked to it, THUS it being property of Verizon now.Which is absolutely INSANE, because I've had this phone well before I arrived here in the USA.
Verizon, cease and desist and return my property back to me!
