"Harassment of me for my sons account"

Debra Presley First let me state, that my son is an adult. We are not discussing an underaged minor. He went and obtained the account under his own name etc.
However, he was unable to find work and fell behind in his payments. His phone service of course has been disconnected.
All of this if fine.What is NOT fine, are the continued phone calls which start at 8 am sharp and proceed throughout varioud times during the day.
I work at home in a home office, where these calls have really began making me very angry due to my failed attempts at having my number removed from his account, so they will stop bothering me with his bill.
BUT! I have attempted to remove myself following the prompts I receive in order to do so, when I receive the calls, where I ultimately wind up on hold for 5 plus minutes or longer, only to wind up being disconnected! Three times with the same results.
I then called the computer number back, where it recognized my phone number where I was given ONLY THE OPTION OF PAYING HIS ACCOUNT IN FULL~! There was no person or operator or any live customer service person I could speak with. The ONLY OPTIONS OFFERED were to pay off the bill.I continue to be harassed 6 (7?) days a week beginning at 8a.m sharp, and throughout the day.
So, here I am where:
1) I am dealing with constant and continued interruptions by Verizon, where every effort I have made, while following their computers directives during the phone call, where I ultimately reach the point where I am placed on hold to wait for a customer service representative who will assist me with this issue, only to wind up being hung up on/disconnected! 3 times with the same results is NO accident!2) These calls are a local long distance call for me to make, just to have the time wasted and thrown away along with the costs of these calls to myself.
3) I have attempted to reach them by using my sons cell phone number and once again following the prompts however once again I do NOT reach a live person, I am still stuck in computer "push" the button hell, and the ONLY options where this attempt lands me is to ONLY PAY THE FULL AMOUNT DUE TO STOP THE COLLECTION CALLS!
Not only is this non-existent 'customer service' its nothing less than direct harassment of myself, on the part of Verizon due to their own ineptitude, or *corporate game* playing they have devised in order to collect a debt. I dont care who you are, you do not have the legal right or authority to pursue another individual for someone elses debt owed, especially when that other person is of legal age, living in his own residence, where he is receiving his statements because I have delivered his mail to his home on a couple of different occasions.
Verizon? I have done my part. Now cease and desist with your actions or face the consequences which are brought about by your own inept and very incomplete "customer service", which realistically does not even exist due to how going in you direct the person attempting to contact you to one dead end alley where the only options being provided are to pay the bill owed in full ~! No press (whatever number or symbol) to reach a customer service representative, no please wait while we connect you with a representative at all once you reach this point of no return. The only option is to pay the bill or hand up.Effort in futility, unnecessary use and waste of my valuable time, compounded by the long distance charges I face when making these what I now realize are fruitless by nature, as you do not have true 'customer service'.
At one time I seriously considered switching to Verizon. I currently have AT&T, and you know what? I get to speak to real people there who provide true customer service!
Bottom line is, I sent an email to who knows where it will wind up, clearly expressing my displeasure at what is taking place and to cease and desist from any future calls being made to my number. I advised you to turn his phone service on long enough to reach him yourself and deal with him directly~ and refusal to obtain the results I seek will ultimately wind up where I seek legal proceedings against you for harassment charges and any other charges which may apply and pertain to what is taking place where I fully intend to seek legal judgement against you, in a court of law in order for me to obtain what it is I seek and by law am entitled to receive.All of this and I dont even have an account with Verizon and I must say that this established the fact that I never will due to the deplorable customer service that currently exists.
