Mark Kaufman Ah... Where to begin...
We have been having a series of diverse problems with our service.
Sometimes everything (cable TV, internet service and phone service) just drops out.
Another problem is that some regular channels cannot be accessed.
A third problem has been that channels will suddenly go black while watching them.
Each time one of these three problems arose, I called to make a service appointment.
The service calls for the first two issues were within the time window, and seemed to correct the problem.
But the service appointment for the THIRD problem has become a nightmare.
First, the technician was given the wrong phone number to verify that someone was home. I SPECIFICALLY gave them my CELL phone number, since I might be outside doing yardwork, and would not hear my home phone when they called.
They called my home phone! When I came back in the house, I listened to the voice mail saying that I now had to call to reschedule. This was at 9:15 in the morning.
I immediately called them back, and was told that IF they could make the service call the same day, it would be anywhere between now and 8:00PM! In other words, I now had to stay at home all day because of THEIR blunder.
They refused to accomodate me my narrowing down the time window to anything reasonable.
In the end, my day was shot because I had to accomodate THEM, even though screwed up.
This is the worst service I've ever experienced. Time Warner's indifference to the customer's needs and to the need to accomodate a customer when THEY screwed up is pathetic.
At this point, I wish that every person at that company become subject to the same sort of incompetence and inconvenience they have inflicted on me.
