Jim Moody I have a five year old iMac, upgraded and up-to-date. Without informing anyone Apple has released a new OS, Mountain Lion, that doesn't work on any Mac date before 2007.
In other words, anyone who has a Mac that is older than that is out of luck because their Mac is no obsolete and cannot be upgraded
